We are building the biggest school in the world.

Our mission is to ensure anyone can build a better future.

Our goals

We set goals to stay aligned and move toward our mission. These goals are our North Star. Each team and individual has their own goals that support the company’s long-term mission and yearly priorities. We update them quarterly to keep pushing forward. Here you can find our live dashboard.

Our growth framework: Understand → Identify → Execute

Growth is about daily experimentation, testing hypotheses, and making ongoing improvements to steer the business toward a goal as quickly as possible.

To do so, we must identify and execute against the highest-impact opportunities. We can think of a growth framework as a way to identify and measure these opportunities. It helps us develop growth tactics.

Understand our goal and the game we are playing Identify the highest-yield opportunity Execute iteratively and measure everything

Our prioritization framework: $Impact * Confidence / Effort$

When we plan ahead, prioritization is a regular challenge: How do we decide what to work on first? To answer it, we like to use the ICE framework – Impact, Confidence, and Effort.

The ICE framework helps us decide what to work on by scoring Impact (how valuable it could be), Confidence (how sure you are it will work), and Effort (how easy it is to do). The best ideas have high impact and confidence – but low effort.
