Slack is our main tool for internal communication — not email.

Slack is fast, open, and easy to search — but only if we all use it right. Here’s how to keep our communication clean, clear, and helpful for everyone.
Most channels are public so everyone can stay in the loop. We only use private chats for one-on-one communication or for topics involving personal matters of team members.
Threads keep Slack organized. Before posting, search (cmd+F / ctrl+F) to make sure the topic hasn’t already been discussed.
Start with a clear subject line in bold format (like an email title), then add everything else as a reply in the thread. Always reply in thread — not in the main chat.
Write your full message before posting — title first, then thread. Don’t post just a title and then start writing. Slack won’t notify others, and your message might be missed.
If needed, prep your post in a private “draft” channel or doc.
Keep messages short, clear, and easy to scan.
Use bullets or numbers for structure.
